  • Local Farm Family Cemetery located here. Good decent Folks lived about this area when I was a Kid back in the 1960's. We attended here sometimes. Our church was down the Mountain at West Loop, Rd, Hollidaysburg. I can remember riding our bikes all around the Blue Knob Mountain Area. Sometimes our horses would get loose from the field and us kids would spend half the day chasing them down. There used to be an operational Martin's Dairy just down the road where you could buy fresh milk. And just down over the hill in a creek there were real beavers and their Dams. I can remember all the Farmers plowing their fields and raising their cattle. We could always see the church because it is setting on top of a hill where most of the homes in the area could see it. This Area is part of the Blue Knob Community, high in the mountains, with beautiful scenery all about. I love this area and travel back there with my Grand Sons so they can experience the beauty of GOD'S Green Earth. This rural area has changed little in the last 45 years.

My Hope is that this Church prospers for the Community in the years to come.
